Grogoo's principal objective is to bring the world's sellers and buyers, small businesses and bread winners in particular, together in a common database. Grogoo is now world renowned as the smart site to find just about anything you need, whether it be a place to rent, a house to buy, a car to buy, a restaurant or even the man selling on the street. It's the easy-to-use way to find sellers of products and services close to your home or workplace. With the intention to realize our mission, Grogoo's founders, Dr. Susan Bernard, Warren Vernon, Ricardo Harvey and Dwight Clarke, developed a new approach to online product promotions that came out of an idea generation session at Library at the University of the West Indies, Mona and the University of Guelph, Toronto, Canada, and will soon spread to all corners of the world.
What Is GroGoo?
"Grogoo" is commemorative of the forefather one of the founder's who lived in the in the seventeenth century, that is Admiral Edward Vernon whose nickname was "Old Grog". The name was given to him because he watered down alcoholic beverages so that the Royal Navy wouldn't be drunk after consuming. This tactic helped them to become victors on numerous occasions. Modern versions of the drink are often made with hot or boiling water, and sometimes include lemon juice, lime juice, cinnamon or sugar to improve the taste.
